It is somewhat easier to love and care for those we have a natural affinity to and a liking for. It is harder to value and care for those different from ourselves. Perhaps we don't understand them. Perhaps we don't rate them. Lord, please break down those prejudices and thoughts that bear no resemblance to Christ. (Luke 7:36-50)

Please pray that we would not lose sight of the preciousness to God of every individual we come across. Each one is loved and valued by Him; may our response to each one be no different from God's, whether they are Christian or not. (1 Thessalonians 2:7-8)

Please pray that those of us who have followed Christ for some time would be confident of the calling He has asked us to undertake, and how He has equipped us to fulfil that calling. That each of us would feel valued in the part of the Body He has called us to. (Ephesians 4:13)

Please pray that those helping new and young Christians will value these people and seek with God's help to invest deeply into them. May they be established and built up in the faith through the Scriptures and prayer, especially with many coming from broken homes and broken lives. (Colossians 2:6-7)
