Ordinary People, Multiplied by Christ,
Living and Discipling Among the Lost

East Midlands Discipleship Day Conference

Discipleship: Co-Labour with God

Come, follow me, Jesus said, and I will make you fishers of men. (Matt 4:19)

April's Day Conference will be asking questions like:

  • What is a disciple?
  • Can I personally get intimate with Christ when life is crowding in and spilling over?
  • Can I work with Christ to see my friends move from lost to saved, to devoted, to reaching their friends and their world?

It is amazing how closely Jesus ties fruitful ministry to personal intimacy with Him. Christ's call to "follow me" can be obscured by a culture where activity comes before intimacy and the benchmark of success is leadership rather than maturity. Our spiritual life can dry up and our impact on the world around seem minimal.

This day conference will help us keep discipleship and disciple making at the centre and put us in touch with people and resources that can support us. Relevant teaching, real-life stories and interactive seminars will help us work through what it all means in the real world.

So, whether you want to be personally encouraged, impact your church or workplace, make a difference to your family, your neighbours, your leisure time, your college or your retirement, we hope you can join us . . .
